All prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy, except for select mail-order pharmacies and regulated medications. These must be hand-written by our office and faxed.

Please call the office and speak with the receptionist to leave a message with your request. In order for a referral request to be completed the following information is needed: Patient name, the reason for the request, the specialist's full name, NPI number and address, and if known, any special requests. Please allow 5 - 7 days for processing non-emergencies. Per insurance company regulations, follow-up referrals cannot be issued without a plan of treatment from the specialist on file. The specialist should provide a letter indicating your diagnosis, follow-up plans, and need for follow-up visits. To improve communications with the specialists, please ask them at the time of your visit to send a letter to our office.

Patients will be notified of all test results, whether normal or abnormal by our staff.
