**Providers are not in the office on Weds but our office is open 9:00am to 3:00pm (for messaging, referral requests, etc.) Weds walk-ins start at 7:00am to 9:00am for lab appointments only.
Walk-in hours: Monday thru Friday only between 8:00am and 8:45am. Patients may call the office after 9:00am for an emergency same day sick appointment.
Walk-in lab hours: : are Monday starting @ 7:30am and Tues thru Fri 8:00am-11:00am; Sat 9:00am to 12:30pm by appt. only. Please contact the office to be put on the schedule so we have your lab slip prepared on the day you would like to come in, once on the schedule, you can walk in for labs at times listed above.

Patients should contact the office to schedule appointments for all acute care needs, preventative care and emergencies. Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. Emergency same-day appointments are available. Walk-ins for sick patients are welcome on weekdays from 8:00am to 8:45am. Please call at 9am for availability of scheduling a same day appointment.

After Hours/Weekend Care:
For emergencies after the office is closed, please call the main number, (908) 281-1199, for the Answering Service operator. They will page the doctor on call, who is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by telephone. If there is a disruption of phone service, please contact the office via the operator at Somerset Medical Center (908) 685-2200.

Please call the office and press the Refill option to leave a message with your request. Please state and spell your name, medications, dosage, and pharmacy name and phone number. Please try to call prior to running out of your medications, and to allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed. All prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy, except for select mail-order pharmacies and regulated medications. These must be hand-written by our office and faxed.

Please call the office and press the Referral option to leave a message with your request. Please state and spell your name, the reason for the request, the specialist's full name and address, and if known, any special requests. Please allow 5 - 7 days for processing, except for emergencies. Per insurance company regulations, follow-up referrals cannot be issued without a plan of treatment from the specialist, which is a letter from the specialist on our records indicating your diagnosis, follow-up plans, and need for follow-up visits. To improve communications with the specialists, please ask them at the time of your visit to send a letter to our office.

Test Results:
Patients will be notified of all test results, whether normal or abnormal by our staff. According to HIPAA confidentiality rules, results can only be given to the patient (not spouse, significant other, etc.), unless written consent is obtained for the chart. No OB/gynecology/STD - related lab results can be given to the parent of a patient who is a minor without written HIPAA consent of the patient/minor. This is NJ law.


Check with a member of our staff for all other insurances accepted. We also accept Cash, Personal Checks and most types of credit or debit cards.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my records transferred?
Complete and mail / drop-off at your last doctor's office the "Transfer of Record" form found on this website or requested from this office (or hand-write your request with our address and telephone number).

Can my entire family be seen by the same doctor?
Yes, Family Medicine is the care of the entire family, including children, adolescents, adults and elderly patients.

Am I always notified about my test results even if normal?
Yes. A member of our staff will call you within 1 - 2 weeks with ALL results. If you do not hear from our office after 2 weeks please notify our office.

What if I have mail-order prescriptions?
Depending on the company your insurance uses, the prescription may have to be faxed by our office or may be sent electronically directly to the company. Please request a refill 2 weeks prior to running out of the medications to allow time for processing.

Do I have to use a computer to renew my medications or request a referral?
No. You may request both by calling the office's main number (908) 281-1199 and pushing the option for Refill or Referral requests, and leaving a detailed message for doctor approval. If it's an emergency referral or you are out of your medications, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. The usual turnaround time for requested Refills is 48 hours and Referrals is 5 - 7 business days.

May I request that copies of my test results, lab tests, lab requests, referrals, diets, and other patient information be mailed to my home?
Yes! Please give us a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that we can send a copy of what you request. We also can keep self-addressed, stamped envelopes on file for you if you have items that require frequent mailing. You can also pick up your requests at the office.
